How to Edit Patient Information in DIANA
There are a few reasons why you may need to edit patient information in DIANA:
- A patient's email address was entered incorrectly —> simply update the email on the patient profile! (Note: Please do not create a new account for a patient if her information was entered incorrectly. Instead, locate her existing account and update the information there.)
- A patient got a new phone number —> simply update the phone number on the patient profile.
Luckily, it's quick and easy to edit patient information in DIANA. Here's how:
1. Open the patient profile

2. Edit the information you wish to change
Once you're on a patient's profile, click the pink "Edit" button.
You can edit the following fields in DIANA:
- First or last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- MRN
- Address
- Height
- Language
- Estimated due date (EDD)
- Actual due date (ADD)
- Date of birth (DOB)
- Department
- Provider
- *If the patient is on the Postpartum Monitoring Program, you can also edit their discharge date
3. Save your changes
Once you've made the edits or changes you wish to make, click the pink " Save" button to save your changes.
