How to View and Manage Non-Compliant Patients

The Triggers dashboard is as the best place in DIANA to review patients who are non-compliant with their BP monitoring.

Below is an overview of how to view and utilize the information you see in the Non-Compliance section of the Triggers dashboard.

1. In the left-hand menu of DIANA, click on "Triggers" (under "Dashboard")

This will take you to your Triggers dashboard.

2. Click on the "Non-Compliance" tab

This is where you'll see a list of your non-compliant patients.

Yellow indicates the patient is non-compliant according to your BP frequency protocols.
Red indicates the patient is chronically non-compliant according to your BP frequency protocols.

3. Filter by product

You can filter the list to look at non-compliant patients for certain products.

  • For example, if you want to look at all non-compliant patients on Normotensive BP monitoring, you can click Filter by product > Normotensive BP Monitoring.

4. Click on a trigger to view more details

You can click on any non-compliance trigger listed in the dashboard to view more patient details (such as gestational age, MRN, and phone number).

5. Take action with the patient, as needed

The Non-Compliance section of the Triggers dashboard makes it easy to take action with non-compliant and chronically non-compliant patients in real-time.

Babyscripts sends automated reminders to patients when they become non-compliant, reminding them to check their BP. These messages are sent via email, SMS, and push notification.

On top of Babyscripts' automated compliance reminders, we recommend taking action with your chronically non-compliant (red) patients.

  • Call the patient: When viewing details for a specific trigger, you can see the patient's phone number. This makes it easy if you want to call the patient on the spot.
  • Send the patient an email: When viewing details for a specific trigger, you can send the patient an email by clicking the pink envelope icon or the pink "Email patient" button. This will open a pop-up where you can compose your message and email the patient.

5. Patients will remain on the Non-Compliance list until they become compliant or are removed

You will be able to view your non-compliant patients in yellow or red until they become compliant again.

  • Once a patient takes her BP and becomes compliant, she will be automatically removed from the Non-Compliance list in the dashboard.
  • Alternatively, if you choose to remove a patient from their remote BP monitoring program, they will be automatically removed from the Non-Compliance list in the dashboard.
